With Restylane all kinds of wrinkles and lines in the face can be treated.
Acne scars, smile lines, frown lines, lines along the cheeks or around the mouth can be treated successfully and permanently with Restylane, also the contour of your lips can be improved or, in fact, augmented. Restylane is a safe treatment which is particularly valuable for use in the lower part of the face where Botox treatment is not usually given.
Hyaluronic acid
Restylane is suitable for use on both men and women.
Restylane is a gel product consisting of Hyaluronic acid (NASHA, Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid). This is totally safe and is produced under heavily controlled conditions.

Restylane has held full European approval (CE- mark) for the last 10 years.
Restylane can only be used by a trained physician. At The Cosmetic Clinic all Restylane treatments are provided by Miss Butt, a Consultant Surgeon.
Restylane Treatments
The treatment involves the injection of the Restylane into the length of the area being treated. Special anaesthetic numbing cream can be applied for a period of time beforehand to reduce any experience of the injection.
Longer term fillers like Perlane, Juvederm Ultra, Softline and Softline Max (Hydrafill range of fillers) can also be used for facial lines and folds, the advantage being their longevity, lasting 14 - 18 months.
Cheek and volume augmentation/ non-surgical lifting of the face is carried out using specialised longer lasting volume fillers like Radiesse (calcium hydroxyapatite) and Sculptra (Poly-L-lactic acid). Radiesse lasts 14-18 months and Sculptra can last 3-5 years, needing only occasional top ups for ongoing collagen loss.
